Fescue and Mounds are front and center at Lochness, situated along the Welland Canal, the course has an entire Scottish Heathlands feel to it, with mounding, pot bunkers and lots of thick fescue along most holes. The open space along the canal provides extra winds to be a factor on most holes and gives golfers the chance to still score if off the fairway, but the real challenge are the large undulating greens. A great value of money, the course is a perfect stop on any Niagara area golf around. Leave time to enjoy a drink on the patio of the manor style clubhouse overlooking the 9th and 18th greens.
