Parque da Floresta GC (West Algarve)

Very much the understated course in the Algarve,  Parque da Floresta is a solid design throughout its 18 holes.  Set through and around a valley in the far West Algarve,  it’s a great resort design, walkable,  but best if a cart is taken.   Picturesque in every direction,  it doesn't have more than a couple holes with Villas/Homes close by.  It is short at 6300 yards from the back tee,  but is the perfect resort course for guests,  (not a PGA Tour stop).  The 1st hole is the most interesting opening hole in the Algarve with a Risk and Reward effort off the start.  Time at the range prior will help.  Play it 2 or 3 times will warm you up to love the property.
