Almendoeira GC-Faldo (West Algarve)

Part of a new Oceanico development just off the A22 highway in the Western half of the Algarve (Alcantarilha), Almendoeira was designed by Nick Faldo as a bold and brash layout with lots of room to spray the ball,  but numberous bunkers throughout each hole cause trouble if not careful with ball position off the tee.  Needs a little more time to grow in with its landscaping,  but give another yaer or 2 and the well groomed design will be amongst the Top 10 in the Algarve easily.
