The South course is more consistent with the overall design and hole features and is popular with players of all handicaps, as it hosts a European PGA event most years. The South is very well groomed and with its sandy soil, absorbs the rain well, year round, leaving a true roll of the ball and adds good length off the tee. Typical Portugese 'Umbrella Pines' make it even more unique and interesting to play when not on the fairway. Bring extra ammunition if not a low handicapper.
