Wachesaw Plantation East Golf Club represents the best of a traditional Scottish Design golf course. Architect Clyde Johnston carved this course out of a former rice plantation in Murrells Inlet. With rolling mounds and tree-lined fairways, Wachesaw East can be visually challenging. Good golf shots are typically rewarded and especially ones landing on the receptive, quick and true rolling greens. Known for hosting four LPGA Tour events, Wachesaw East provides a fantastic value for golfers wanting to play a well-maintained course for a few bucks less. Named 2007 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association, Wachesaw East remains a frequent favorite place to play by Myrtle Beach locals.
